Email Marketing for Contractors

Your past customers are the cheapest jobs you will ever book. We build the follow-up engine that emails them at the moments that matter, so the review and the next job come to you instead of a competitor.

Your customer list is the cheapest revenue you own, and most contractors never send it a single email.

Your Customer List Goes Cold the Day the Truck Leaves

· The Problem

Three years after you fixed their furnace, that homeowner needs help again. They cannot remember your company name, so they search, and they call whoever ranks. You paid marketing dollars to win that customer once, and a competitor just got them for free.

The same leak runs through the whole operation: jobs close and no thank-you or care instructions ever go out, review requests happen only when somebody remembers, tune-up season passes without a single reminder, customers who went quiet stay quiet, and the only email a homeowner ever gets from you is the invoice.

Your past customers are an owned channel.

Every other channel rents attention by the click or the impression. The list of people who already trusted you with their home is the one audience you can reach without paying twice, and it grows with every job you complete.

What Email Marketing Includes

· Service Register

We build the system that runs after the truck leaves the driveway, wired into the software you already use so it fires on real events instead of somebody’s memory.

List Build and CleanupEvery past customer pulled out of your CRM, invoices, and job records into one clean, permissioned list with consent tracked, and it grows automatically with every completed job.
Core
Post-Job Follow-Up and Review RequestsAutomated after every completed job: the thank-you and care instructions first, a satisfaction check next, and the review ask only after a positive signal so your public rating stays protected. Pairs with our review management work.
Core
Maintenance and Seasonal CampaignsReminders timed to your trade’s real cycle, spring and fall tune-ups, filter swaps, pumping schedules, plus a few well-timed seasonal sends tied to actual local weather.
Structure
Win-Back and ReactivationCustomers who went quiet get a low-friction reason to call again, a tune-up, an inspection, a plan check-in, before a competitor’s postcard beats you to their mailbox.
Structure
Measurement and IterationReview velocity, booking rate on reminders, and reactivations tracked monthly, with what worked folded into the next round and what stalled cut.

List, Automate, Measure

· The Process
01 · List and Map

We assemble the permissioned list from the systems you already run, classify each service line by its real repeat cycle, and map the job-complete trigger in your software.

02 · Write and Automate

All five sequences get written in plain homeowner voice and wired to fire on events, a job closing, a season turning, a service interval coming due.

03 · Send and Measure

The engine runs on its own from there. We watch review velocity, bookings, and reactivations every month and tighten what the numbers point at.

Every email your list opens is a job you did not have to buy twice.

Contractor Email, Answered Straight

· Questions
Do homeowners actually read email from their contractor?

They read the ones tied to something real: the job that just finished, the season turning, the tune-up coming due. Those are the emails we send. Calendar-filler newsletters are the sends that get ignored, and we mostly skip them.

What email platform do you use?

The tools you already run. If your field-service software can fire the sequences, we build there first, because it already knows the moment a job closes. If you need a dedicated email tool, we set one up and wire it into your stack.

How often will my customers hear from us?

Event-driven first. A customer hears from you after their own jobs, at their service intervals, and when a season genuinely turns. That works out to a handful of relevant emails a year, enough to stay remembered without ever reading as spam.

Do I need permission to email past customers?

We build the list permissioned from day one: every contact is a real customer relationship, every send identifies your company and carries a working unsubscribe, and opt-outs are honored immediately. Text messaging is stricter, so SMS only goes to customers who explicitly opted in, tracked separately.

What if I do not have a list?

You have more of one than you think. Every invoice, estimate, and job record is a customer contact. We assemble the list from the systems you already run, clean it, and from then on it grows on its own with every completed job.

When does the review request go out?

Only after a positive signal, a satisfaction check answered well or a job closed clean with no open complaint. Asking everyone the moment the invoice sends is how contractors collect their worst reviews, so unhappy customers route privately to you instead of to a public form.
